Steve Mancinelli, AAM / Owner
Owner | AMI Accredited Automotive Manager | ASE Certified Master Technician (Advanced Level Specialist, L1, and Service Consultant)
Steve has over 46 years of experience in the automotive field here in Downtown Denver. After graduating from Creighton University in 1983, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, he chose to continue the family business. Among the above certifications he holds, he is also a registered Colorado Emissions Technician, he has earned his Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM) degree through the Automotive Management Institute and served on the Automotive Service Association (ASA) board of directors for 6 years. Steve finds the field of vehicle service and auto repair to be the most challenging ever. Because of this, he ensures his employees are updated regularly through training and have access to the latest high tech tools and equipment in order to solve the toughest car problems. Ongoing training in communication skills is equally important to Steve, in order to maintain that “Old Fashioned Service” his customers have grown accustomed to since his grandfather opened the business back in 1950. With roots that deep, Steve and his staff of service advisors and auto mechanics are continually involved with community events and causes.
ASE Certified Master Technician (Advanced Level Specialist and L1)
Andrew has lived in California, Louisiana, Florida and Japan, however, the one consistent thing was his love of cars. In high school, he began working on cars and excelled in Auto Shop. He has received a lot of valuable experience and training in his 20 years working in the auto repair business by spending time at a fleet company, mass merchandiser and independent repair facilities. As an auto mechanic, Andrew is committed to ongoing automaker training and industry-recognized certifications. He currently is a European vehicle specialist at Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center. To keep pace with evolving vehicle technology and associated service procedures, Andrew continually updates his L1 and Advanced Level Specialist certifications that qualify him as a registered ASE Certified Master Technician. One of Andrews’ strengths is his deep commitment to each customer’s vehicle. His #1 priority is to ensure that his repairs make each car safe and also help prolong the reliability of the vehicle. He is keenly aware of the investment each customer has in their automobile, truck or SUV and treats those vehicles as if they were his own. Andrew’s integrity and commitment to the motorists who live or work in Downtown Denver, Parker or nearby communities make him a great part of the team.
ASE Certified Master Technician (Advanced Level Specialist and L1)
Russ joined the Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center team when he moved from Arizona 13 years ago to Downtown Denver. He has collected countless credentials over the 34 years he has worked in the automotive field, including management. He even owned his own repair shop for 8 years, so he understands how difficult it is to be a small business owner. Education is important to Russ. He maintains his Advanced Level Specialist and L1 certifications, which qualify him as a registered ASE Certified Master Technician. He has also attained his L3 certification as a hybrid/electric vehicle specialist. He also attends automaker-specific training annually to improve and align his service and auto repair competencies with emerging advanced technologies. Russ has also spent time giving back to the auto repair industry by instructing automotive coursework at Arapahoe Community College after working a full day at Mancinelli’s. He was known to be a good communicator, and excelled at showing a logical thought process and approach to automotive repair. Russ sums up his commitment to the customer by giving them the best possible service he can. Specifically being friendly, courteous and repairing their vehicle correctly the first time.
4 Year Degree in Automotive Management
Mike has been part of the Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center team for 3 1/2 years. He joined the company in January of 2015 after earning a 4-year degree in Automotive Management from Walla Walla University in Washington. Mike chose this career path due to his love of cars going back to his high school days at Mile High Academy here in Denver. Auto repair fascinated Mike, so joining Mancinelli’s was a natural career path to pursue. Mike enjoys a variety of activities in Downtown Denver and nearby communities, in particular, anything dealing with sports or the outdoors. He plays in 2 different soccer leagues during his spare time, but also finds plenty of time to spend with his family. Mike is committed to providing the best auto repair experience to all of his customer’s, and wants it to be better than any experience they have had elsewhere. He values honesty and integrity in all that he does, and is a welcome addition as a service advisor to the auto mechanics and customers of the Mancinelli automotive family.
ASE Master Certified Technician (Apprentice)
William Smith is another auto mechanic on the Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center team, which is conveniently located in Downtown Denver. He recently became a registered ASE Master Certified Technician, an industry recognition of his professional expertise and dedication to keeping auto repair competencies in step and aligned with emerging vehicle technology and evolving service procedures. He received his formal education from Front Range Community College, and graduated with an Associates Degree in automotive technology. He has spent time at the dealership level, but prefers the independent shop environment, due to the variety of automobiles that are seen by independents. He enjoys anything that has to do with all aspects of the automotive business, especially racing. The performance part of automotive is what got him interested in learning more and becoming a technician. His commitment to the customer is to perform complete diagnosis and repair of any problem presented and correct it properly the first time.
Alexandra (Alex) is the service specialist at Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center, located in Downtown Denver. Technical training is a given at many auto repair shops, but service advisor training is also very important because it’s service specialists who interact directly and frequently with customers. Alex has committed to this lengthy training program, because her contact with customers before, during, and after service are opportunities to enrich their customer experiences. Alex grew up in a family of car enthusiasts and has had an interest in the business for a long time. She studied psychology and graduated Colorado State University with a B.S. in psychology and worked in a day program for adults with intellectual disabilities. However, she still had a soft spot for the automotive business and when the opportunity to join the Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center team came up, she went after it and loves serving customers and supporting the team’s auto mechanics as a service specialist and marketing coordinator. She is also training to grow into the position of service advisor. She enjoys drawing, painting, doing a lot of outdoor activities. She has an ardent desire to “give back” to the community and is committed to giving Mancinelli’s customers the perfect customer service experience by showing them respect and providing them with the honest information the company has built its reputation on.
The Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center team wants to provide you with the finest auto repair customer experience. We welcome and actively seek customer feedback, whether face-to-face, via telephone, or in online reviews, such as this:
“Mancinelli’s Auto Repair Center is by far one of the finest shops in Denver. It's not a big chain auto shop, it's. A small business with personal employees. I can say with all sincerity, there is no nicer mechanic around than Steve the owner. And when your boss is honest, nice, helpful and fair then your employees will be too. Once I was having one of those days where the world seems to be crashing down on me, you know what I mean. And then I start my car and boom, hiss and I see steam coming from under my hood. This day I felt as if I could not take one more bad thing. So I took my car to Mancinelli's and owner Steve could see the anguish on my face. He personally popped my hood and told me as long as I can go without air conditioning my car is fine. No big expensive repair and no charge for this diagnostic. He was a lifesaver. He didn't try to sell me repairs I didn't need. If you get your car repaired at Mancinelli's, expect quality service, expect a clean shop, expect timely service and most of all, expect the job done right.” -- Monte T.
